He’s since worked as a reporter and editor for Dow Jones Newswires, Reuters, Bloomberg, and Crain’s Chicago Business. As a journalist, Bruce has covered many critical components of global agriculture and the farm economy, including meat and grain processing, cash and futures markets, farm policy, food safety, food retailers, energy and biofuels and the USDA. Bruce grew up on his family’s farm outside Williamsburg, Iowa, and currently resides in Elmhurst, IL, outside Chicago with his wife and two daughters. He holds a degree in agricultural journalism from Iowa State University.
