Corn and soybeans extended Thursday’s corrective gains during the overnight session, while wheat bounced from recent losses.
Sharp Drop Erases November’s Short Trip into Positive Ground
For the week ended Dec. 12, corn sales rose 24% to 1.17 MMT from a week ago, while wheat and soybean sales jumped 58% and 21%, respectively.
SRW wheat futures fell to contract lows overnight, while HRW and HRS contracts held above their recent lows. Corn followed wheat to the downside, while soybeans posted mild corrective gains.
