Corn bulls have shown impressive resilience the past couple of days in the wake of Tuesday’s USDA Crop Production Report.
Net sales reductions for old-crop corn and soybeans were rather disappointing today as traders and analysts alike are looking for old-crop exports to end the year strong.
While prices were mixed, most still remain above nearby futures.
USDA reported net soybean sales of 1.13 MMT for the week ended Aug. 7, with sales primarily to unknown destinations. Meanwhile, old-crop corn and soybean sales each carved marketing-year lows.
