HRW CCI inches higher, SRW slips

When USDA’s weekly crop condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500-point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW crop improved 1.2 points to 243.9, despite declines in Kansas and Oklahoma. The SRW crop slipped 1.2 points to 375.3, despite an improvement in Illinois. CCI ratings remain historically low for the HRW crop and above average for SRW.
