Spring wheat CCI rating continues to drop, corn and beans fall, too

When USDA's weekly condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (CCI; 0 to 500-point scale, with 500 representing perfect), the corn crop declined 2.5 points to 366.1 points and the soybean crop slipped 1.1 points to 351.2 points. The CCI ratings are 7.3 points below the five-year average for corn and 9.6 points below average for soybeans.

The spring wheat CCI dropped another 6.4 points over the past week to 216.6 points. The spring wheat rating is now 140.7 points (39.4%) below the five-year average.
