Corn CCI rating slips, soybean rating modestly rises

When USDA's weekly condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (CCI; 0 to 500-point scale, with 500 representing perfect), the corn crop slipped 1.5 points to 353.8 points. The soybean crop improved a point to 346.5 points. The CCI ratings for both crops are nearly 11 points below the respective five-year averages.
