Pro Farmer Crop Tour winds down; final estimates this afternoon

Tour records were discovered in both Minnesota and Iowa.

The western leg of the crop tour took us through Minnesota Districts 4, 5, 7, 8 &9. It was the best crop I’ve seen in Minnesota.

The best was saved for last. Eastern Iowa crops were much better than what we sampled earlier in the week.

Scouts measured average yield potential of 202.86 bu. per acre. Soybean pod counts in a 3' x 3' square averaged 1,246.86

Scouts found average corn yield potential of 198.43 bu. per acre. Soybean pod counts in a 3' x 3' square averaged 1,562.54.
