After a couple weeks of sideways trade, row-crops have started to trend lower with soybeans and wheat leading the way to the downside. While there will be an updated supply and demand report next week, it will not likely have much of an impact on the market as traders await the January production reports Attention has picked up on South America with additional firms updating and initiating forecast production while some concerns are picking over Brazilian safrinha corn production as soy plantings have been delayed.
