Daily trading limits will be expanded on Wednesday by 1.00 cent per pound (100 points). Cattle: December live cattle closed steady at $220.80, near mid-range. November feeder cattle gained $1.625 to $330.90, nearer the session high. The live and feeder cattle futures markets saw some technical buying most of the session today as price uptrends are in place on the daily bar charts, to encourage the speculative bulls.

Hogs:December lean hog futures rose $1.30 to $69.70, nearer the daily high. The lean hog futures market saw short covering today after December futures hit a contract low on Monday.
