Greg, a fifth-generation family farmer, grows soybeans, alfalfa and corn and has a cow/calf operation near Newman Grove, Neb. Greg received his appointment to USB in 1999 and currently serves as an ex-officio member of the USB Executive Committee and as a member of the Domestic Marketing Committee. Greg’s previous leadership roles with USB include service as USB Immediate Past Chairman, USB Chairman and Vice Chairman, as well as chair and vice chair of the Communications Committee and team lead for the Biobased Products Initiative. He has also served on the Domestic Marketing Committee, Budget Allocation Model Working Group, Biotech Task Force, Planning & Allocation Working Group and Budget & Finance Committee. Greg is a board member of the U.S. Soybean Export Council and a member of the QUALISOY Board. He has been a member of the Nebraska Soybean Board for 12 years, serving as chairman, vice chairman and treasurer, and is currently an ex-officio member. Greg is also a member of the American Angus Association and is active in his local church and community. He attended Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn.
