Bryan Doherty, Senior Market Advisor, was raised on a grain and livestock farm in southeastern Wisconsin. After high school, Bryan served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He then attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. Bryan joined Stewart-Peterson in1989 and has been an integral part of the company for the past 18 years. Bryan manages a team of four skilled marketing assistants, including Joanne, Karla, Naomi, and Patrick. Bryan has been very involved with the growth of the company and is involved in the training and mentoring of new market advisors. Through Bryan’s intense mentoring program, new market advisors are coached not only to be expert marketers but also to provide quality customer service by matching marketing needs to individual farm needs. Bryan sits on the Stewart-Peterson Executive Committee and on the Market360 advisory team. Bryan also authors the Top Farmer Intelligence Report, a product of Stewart-Peterson. Top Farmer has been rated number one for corn and soybean recommendations several times over the last decade according to Top Producer Magazine. He has been a guest on the Successful Farming Radio Magazine Show and was recently featured in their magazine. Bryan is frequently interviewed by several farm broadcast stations to give immediate advice when there has been a critical turn in the market due to some newsworthy event or recent crop report. Bryan’'s articles have been published in numerous agriculture magazines and newspapers and is often quoted in various feature stories. In addition, he conducts numerous marketing seminars throughout the country each year with a strong following. Bryan and his wife Linda have four children. He coaches Little League baseball and is an assistant scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout troop.
