BHS Energy LLC is a family owned and operated manufacturing operation located in Pennsylvania, and is the only manufacturer of fuel briquetting machinery in the United States. Since being founded in 2005 research has been done on the densification of switchgrass and other grasses, and has resulted in the “Slugger”, a biomass briquetter capable of making 1.5" or 2" fuel briquettes from grasses, woody biomass and agricultural wastes.
