Winter Wheat Plantings to Climb 5% in 2021, But Still Historically Low

Survey work shows winter wheat seedings will likely climb climb 5% from 2020, but the tally still marks the fourth lowest U.S. planted acreage on record. SRW wheat plantings are expected to jump 12% from last year, with HRW wheat acres rising 4%. White winter wheat seedings are expected to edge 1% higher. The following expectations are based on survey-work by Reuters (Bloomberg for cotton).
