Members of the National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) crushed 170.011 million bu. of soybeans during March, roughly a 15.5 million bu. (10%) jump from February but more than 1.8 million bu. (1%) lighter than year-ago. The March 2019 crush was the second biggest on record for the month and it topped expectations for crush to total 168.028 million bushels.
Also encouraging, soyoil stocks came in a bit lighter (22 million lbs.) than anticipated at 1.761 billion pounds. That was well under March 2018 levels when stocks totaled 1.946 billion pounds.
