Potash led declines in this week's P&K price action. North Dakota fell $14.30 and Missouriphosphate price chart dropped $10.10. No state was unchanged on potash with Minnesota off $8.89 as Illinois softened $4.28.

DAP was lower as well led by Iowa which corrected $51.80 lower as Kansas fell $8.08. Three states were unchanged with Missouri up $12.15 and Indiana gaining $15.03.

MAP posted a slight gain overall on the week. Ohio firmed $8.57 and Minnesota added $6.23. Three states were unchanged with Missouri off $13.70 and Kansas down $2.47.

Not much to report this week. The fundamentals are generally unchanged. Sulphur is unchanged once again as phosphate rock and ammonia each added slight gains. We havepotash and anhydrous price comp chart pointed to high-priced production fundamentals as the reason for over priced phosphate, and that trend continues this week.

Potash moved moderately lower on the week, but still has a lot of work to do if it is to better reflect anhydrous ammonia pricing, which is very low this week thanks to two consecutive weeks of sharply lower average bids.

With harvest underway and making its way northward, the downside will be extremely limited, especially for DAP and MAP.
