Corn: May corn futures fell 3 cents at $6.51 and the nearer the session low. Corn traders got a mildly bearish USDA monthly supply and demand report today.

Soybeans: May soybeans rose 10 cents to $14.97 1/4, ending the session above the 10- and 100-day moving averages, while May soymeal rose $7.10 to $457.80. May soyoil ended 41 points higher at 54.89 cents. Soybeans mustered strength from corrective buying efforts following a mild selloff in the past four sessions.

Wheat: May SRW wheat fell 4 1/2 cents at $6.74, nearer the session low and hit a two-week low. May HRW wheat dropped 7 3/4 cents at $8.68 1/4 and nearer the session low. Spring wheat futures fell 12 3/4 cents to $8.62 1/4. The wheat futures markets today got a neutral to slightly negative USDA monthly supply and demand report today.

Cotton: May cotton rose 30 points to 82.75 cents, near the session high. Cotton ended the session marking only slight gains despite notable crude oil strength and weakness in the U.S. dollar.

Cattle: Expiring April live cattle futures climbed another 92.5 cents to $172.30 Tuesday, while most-active June futures gained 25 cents to $163.95. May feeder futures jumped $2.20 to $207.825. Last week’s five-area cash average jumped $4.36 to $173.10, which represented an all-time high.

Hogs: June lean hogs closed $1.30 lower at $87.85, near the lower end of today’s trading range. Lean hog futures reversed yesterday’s gains amid continued weakness in the lean hog index.
