HRW CCI Rating Continues to Drop

When USDA’s weekly crop condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500 point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW wheat crop dropped 4.2 points to 327.6 points and the SRW crop increased 1.1 points to 364.3 points. The HRW crop is still 21.7 points above the five-year average but is down 22 points from where it started spring. The SRW crop is in line with the five-year average and is up 1.4 points from the beginning of April.
