Winter Wheat CCI Ratings Drop

When USDA’s weekly crop condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500 point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW wheat crop dropped 4.1 points to 350.6, while the SRW crop slipped 1.1 points to 341.7. After starting fall virtually equal to the five-year average, the HRW crop is now 5.2 points below that level. The SRW crop remains nearly 32 points below its five-year average, which is where the crop started this fall.
