HRW CCI Rating Drops for the First Time This Spring

When USDA’s weekly crop condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500 point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW crop dropped 1.6 points to 369.3. This is the first weekly decline in the HRW CCI rating this spring. The SRW crop slipped 2.2 points to 322.6. The CCI ratings continue to be well above the five-year average for the HRW crop and well below for the SRW crop.
