When USDA’s weekly crop condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500 point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW wheat crop improved another 3.9 points to 374.1. The HRW crop is now rated nearly 73 points above the five-year average. The SRW crop improved 1.4 points on the CCI to 321.4. That’s 43.6 points below the five-year average.
