On average, analysts surveyed by Reuters expect USDA’s Cattle on Feed Report to show there were around 11.976 million head of cattle in feedlots as of Feb. 1, up 1.4% from year-ago levels. Expectations for placements during February span 10.8 points, signaling a high degree of uncertainty about that category in the report. It will be released at 2:00 p.m. CT Friday.
