CCI Rating Improves From Last Fall for HRW Crop, Declines for SRW Crop

When USDA’s first weekly crop condition ratings of the spring are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500-point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW crop improved 14.3 points over winter to 330.3 points. The SRW crop dropped 8.7 points from last fall to 365.7 points. The CCI ratings are 25.3 points below the five-year average for the HRW crop and 12.8 points above for SRW.
