HRW Crop Ratings Well Above Normal, SRW Ratings Well Below Average

When USDA’s weekly crop condition ratings are plugged into the weighted Pro Farmer Crop Condition Index (0 to 500 point scale, with 500 being perfect), the HRW crop improved a modest 0.84 points to 365.75, while the SRW rose 4.12 points to 323.04. The HRW crop continues to be rated well above its five-year average while the SRW crop is well under its norm for mid-April.
