Weekly Sales Details Net sales of 1,023,000 MT for 2016-17 were up 17% from the previous week, but down 8% from the prior 4-week average. Increases were for unknown destinations (226,600 MT), Colombia (197,100 MT, including 35,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 16,400 MT), Peru (114,000 MT, including 80,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Saudi Arabia (74,900 MT, including 68,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Vietnam (74,500 MT, including 70,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 100 MT). Reductions were for Guatemala (10,000 MT) and the Dominican Republic (2,800 MT).
Weekly Export Details Exports of 851,000 MT were down 32% from the previous week and 35% from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Saudi Arabia (140,000 MT), Mexico (124,800 MT), Colombia (102,300 MT), Peru (84,800 MT), Vietnam (76,900 MT), Bangladesh (60,400 MT), and the Dominican Republic (42,300 MT).
Comments and Performance Indicators Sales topped expectations. Export commitments for 2016-17 are running 89% ahead of of year-ago, compared to 85% ahead the previous week. USDA projects exports in 2016-17 at 2.225 billion bu., up 17.2% from the previous marketing year.

Increases were reported for Mexico (98,900 MT), Japan (80,400 MT), South Korea (80,000 MT), Algeria (61,700 MT, including 60,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 200 MT), the Philippines (51,000 MT, including 33,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Taiwan (49,200 MT, including 46,900 MT switched from unknown destinations). Reductions were reported for unknown destinations (31,500 MT).
Weekly Export Details Exports of 461,500 MT were up 22% from the previous week, but down 25% from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Morocco (66,000 MT), Japan (62,300 MT), Algeria (61,700 MT), Mexico (51,600 MT), and Taiwan (49,200 MT).
Comments and Performance Indicators Sales were within expectations. Export commitments for 2016-17 are running 27% ahead of year-ago versus 26% ahead the week prior. USDA projects exports in 2016-17 at 975 million bu., up 25.8% from the previous marketing year.

For 2017-18, net sales of 300 MT reported for Japan.
Weekly Export Details Exports of 2,671,400 MT--a marketing-year high--were up 71% from the previous week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were China (2,100,500 MT), the Netherlands (184,100 MT), Mexico (134,600 MT), Spain (115,300 MT), and Japan (38,300 MT).
Comments and Performance Indicators Sales easily topped expectations. Export commitments for 2016-17 are running 26% ahead of year-ago, compared to 28% ahead the previous week. USDA projects exports in 2016-17 at 2.025 billion bu., up 4.6% from year-ago.

Reductions were for Guatemala (900 MT) and South Korea (400 MT).
Weekly Export Details Exports of 96,300 MT were reported to Mexico (37,100 MT), Guatemala (13,900 MT), the Dominican Republic (12,000 MT), Canada (10,000 MT), Honduras (7,100 MT), Nicaragua (4,300 MT), and Venezuela (3,200 MT).
Comments and Performance Indicators Sales topped expectations. Export commitments for 2016-17 are running 20% behind year-ago compared with 25% behind the week prior. USDA projects exports in 2016-17 to be up 3.8% from the previous marketing year.

Increases were reported for China (199,000 RB), Vietnam (45,800 RB, including 600 RB switched from Japan), Taiwan (20,300 RB), South Korea (14,500 RB), and Indonesia (14,200 RB, including 600 RB switched from Japan). Reductions were reported for Japan (1,700 RB).
Weekly Export Details Exports of 128,400 RB were down 16% from the previous week and 24% from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Vietnam (38,000 RB), Mexico (20,800 RB), China (15,800 RB), South Korea (10,700 RB), and Indonesia (9,300 RB).
Comments and Performance Indicators Export commitments for 2016-17 are 65% above year-ago, compared to 60% above the previous week. USDA projects exports to be up 31.1% from the previous year at 12 million bales.

Weekly Export Details Exports of 13,600 MT were down 3% from the previous week and 2% from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were South Korea (3,400 MT), Japan (3,200 MT), Hong Kong (2,100 MT), Mexico (1,700 MT), and Taiwan (1,400 MT).
Comments and Performance Indicators Weekly export sales compare to 17,300 MT the week prior. USDA projects exports in 2016 to be up 8.6% from last year's total.
