NWS 6-10 Day Signals Drier Conditions Headed to Midwest

Posted on 03/09/2017 10:21 AM

The National Weather Service forecast for 16-20 calls for below-normal precip from Nebraska through the northern halves of Illinois and Indiana. Much of this region is expected to see above-normal temps during this period.

But the drier period isn't expected to be long-lasting, as the 8-14 day outlook for Aug. 18-24 calls for above-normal precip to return to the eastern Belt and normal precip for the western Belt.
