NWS 6-10 Day: Rains Headed to Plains

Posted on 03/09/2017 10:23 AM

The National Weather Service forecast for April 10-14 calls for above-normal precip across the HRW Wheat Belt and much of the Corn Belt. If realized, rains would benefit the developing wheat crop and slow early planting efforts in the southern Corn Belt.

Above-normal temps are expected across Texas, but normal temps are expected across most of Kansas and Oklahoma. Below-normal temps are expected across the Dakota, eastern Nebraska eastward across the Corn Belt.
