GreenReport Reflects Solid Western Corn Belt Crop Potential

The Kansas Applied Remote Sensing (KARS) "GreenReport" reflects lush greenness across the bulk of the western Corn Belt compared to the average for early August. A mix of conditions are seen across the eastern Corn Belt, with pockets of concern. But for most of the eastern Belt, conditions are similar to year-ago.


The KARS vegetation condition map below reflects a variety of "fair" to "good" growing conditions across the Corn Belt.
