Corn Inspections Top Expectations; Pace Improves

Comments: Inspections were up 142,670 MT from last week and were above expectations. Inspections for 2015-16 are running 1.9% ahead of year-ago compared to 1% ahead year-ago the week prior. USDA's 2015-16 export forecast of 1.925 billion bu. is up 3.1% from the previous marketing year.
Wheat

Comments: Inspections were down 24,738 MT from the previous week, but were within expectations. Inspections for 2016-17 are running 26.9% ahead of year-ago compared to 32.4% ahead last week. USDA's export forecast for 2016-17 is at 950 million bu., up 22.6% from the previous marketing year.
Soybeans

Expectations (MMT) 600,000-1,000,000
Comments: Export inspections were down 24,457 MT from the previous week and were within expectations. Inspections for the 2015-16 marketing year are 1.0% ahead of year-ago versus 0.4% behind last week. USDA's 2015-16 export forecast is at 1.880 billion bu., up 2.1% from year-ago.
